The digital/online strategy is the process of specifying an organization’s vision, goals, opportunities, and initiatives in order to maximize the investment. It is a multi-faceted approach that involves identifying where online assets can provide a solution to a problem, identifying the unmet needs and goals of the customer, developing a vision around how the online assets will fulfill those needs, and prioritizing a set of online initiatives which can deliver on this vision.
We approach each project we’re honored with by first focusing on the strategy. Some of the research that goes into this consists of competitive analysis, usability evaluation, features and functions analysis, and web analytics. We help develop a vision through an online media plan, roadmap, and proof of concept prior to the execution.
Sound hard and confusing? Well, it can be a challenge, but at it’s core is really just common sense. It comes down to expanding areas that are working, eliminating those that don’t, and finding new ones that will.
